 After spending his early years on the golf course, Mr. Berk has been continuously engaged in the general practice of law since his admission to the Bar in 1966.
After finishing college, a military commitment and law school, Mr. Berk's practice has emphasized personal injury, bodily injury, construction litigation, municipal representation, corporate finance, wills and estates, eminent domain, banking law, finance and real estate.
As a trial attorney, Mr. Berk has been responsible for the administration of a substantial part of the firm's case load and has personally tried numerous cases to jury verdict for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Mr. Berk has continued his keen interest in Westmoreland County with his representation of the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Authority, the Hempfield Township Municipal Authority, the Borough of Irwin, the Central Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Investment Board of Fayette & Westmoreland Counties.
Mr. Berk is a shareholder in the firm of Berk, Whitehead, Kerr & Turin, P.C. Mr. Berk is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, Pennsylvania and Florida.
Mr. Berk is also a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Westmoreland Bar Associations and Westmoreland Academy of Trial Lawyers.
