Our History

Turin & DeMatt, P.C. is a general practice law firm, conveniently located less than a block from the Westmoreland County Courthouse. The firm primarily serves Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania as well as Allegheny, Indiana, Fayette, Armstrong and other surrounding counties. The firm consists of Attorneys Todd T. Turin and Michael E. DeMatt, who have worked together since 2001, representing clients in various legal matters throughout Westmoreland County and beyond.

The firm began as the Greensburg office for the Pittsburgh law firm of Riley & DeFelice. In 1993, members of the Greensburg office split off and formed the firm of Berk, Whitehead, Cassol and Morocco, P.C. Over the past 20 years, the firm’s name has changed: Berk, Whitehead & Cassol, P.C. (1996-1998); Berk, Whitehead, Cassol, Feliciani & Kerr, P.C. (1998-2000); Berk, Whitehead, Kerr, Feliciani & Turin, P.C. (2000-2003); Berk, Whitehead, Kerr & Turin, P.C. (2003-2013); and now, Turin & DeMatt, P.C. However, the firm’s dedication to serving the citizens of Westmoreland County has remained the same.
